How to Disciple the coming outpouring of God’s Spirit
Right across the globe, God is speaking to His prophets and saying that there is coming a harvest of souls and a worldwide awakening like we have never seen before. Some call it theThird Great Awakening.
Disciples Vs. Converts
Most of evangelism today is obsessed with getting someone to make a decision.
It’s disciple-making that Billy Graham realized, later in life, was largely not happening when the dust of his rallies had settled.
A few studies from the early 2000s show that between 3 percent and 6 percent of people who went forward at evangelistic rallies became part of a worshipping community.
The common mistake and failings of modern-day Christianity is making converts and then failing to follow through by discipling them.
Disciple Making
is about investing in the life of the disciple with the intent of transforming them from the inside out, by changing their world view mindsets and godless ways into the plans, purposes and destiny God designed for them.
Take the Gospel and make it simple
The demographics of the new converts is going to be
diverse; they will be from all cultural backgrounds and age groups. The majority
will have no church background.
They will have dabbled in all sorts of demonic activities, witchcraft, sexual activities, their moral compass will be far removed from the morals God meant His creation to live by.
However, they will have experienceda powerful encounter with God and want to change their lifestyle but will have no idea on where to begin. and this is why it will be vitally important to have the right tools for the harvest.
